The Vascular System is also referred to as the Circulatory System or the Cardiovascular System. The Vascular System consists of arteries, veins, and lymphatic vessels. As our heartbeats, it pumps blood from the heart and circulates the blood throughout our body, thus delivering oxygen and nutrients to the body and maintaining a state of balance in the body. Often due to decreased or completely blocked blood flow, our organs get damaged.

The department of Vascular Surgery deals with the entire spectrum of circulatory disorders which are managed medically and by minimally invasive procedures or surgery. The department works continually to improve the quality of life for patients suffering from vascular diseases.
